Overview of the Office of Textile Apparel's Resource

The Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEXA) within the U.S. International Trade Administration will present a webinar which aims to equip participants with valuable insights, and the latest market intelligence to maximize growth and success in the ever-evolving global market. OTEXA will demonstrate the suite of U.S. international trade data and online reference resources for exporters to use. The presentation will also delve into the latest international trade dynamics within the nonwoven industry. OTEXA undertakes industry analysis, contributes to U.S. trade policy development, participates in trade promotion, and addresses trade barriers. OTEXA works with other Department of Commerce units and U.S. agencies in developing a public policy environment that advances U.S. competitiveness at home and abroad.

 

Industry Expert: James Willett is an International Economist in the International Trade Administration’s Office of Textiles and Apparel. He has a master’s degree in applied economics and joined OTEXA May 2023. Prior to his work with the International Trade Administration, he worked in the public sector consulting space. He specializes in international trade, data analysis and reporting, and economic modeling.
