Carded Nonwovens Technology Course - August 2026
The Carded Nonwovens Technology Short Course combines classroom learning with hands-on activities in NWI's state-of-the-art fabrication and testing labs to provide attendees a fundamental understanding of the process of forming carded nonwoven webs. The course focuses on the importance of controlling structure-property-process relationships to optimize carded nonwoven materials to meet the requirements of the application. The course will cover fiber blending and composite formation, along with a focus on the needlepunching and hydroentangling bonding processes. Upon completing the course, attendees will have a comprehensive grasp on carded nonwoven production processes, including raw material selection, basic science knowledge, testing, and the characterization used to create end-use products. Attendees will also understand how to manipulate important variables to optimize the process.

- For cancellations made up to three weeks before the training course start date, a full refund will be issued, minus a $100 processing fee.
- Cancellations made within three weeks of the training course will not qualify for a refund but will be eligible for an INDA credit, less 25% of the total fee.
